The open-world racing game Forza Horizon 2 will be removed from the Xbox Games Store on 30th September 2018.
First launched in the North American market on 30th September 2012, Forza Horizon 2 will be pulled from the marketplace due to the game reaching its “end of life” status.
All of the accompanying DLC for Forza Horizon 2 will also be delisted from the storefront on 30th September 2018.
Players who buy or have bought a digital version of the game before that date will still be able to download Forza Horizon 2 onto their Xbox One console after that date. The same case applies for all of the downloadable content that players acquire prior to its official delisting.
Forza Horizon 2’s sequel, Forza Horizon 3, is still available to download from the Xbox Games Store, along with all of that titles add-on content. That game’s successor, Forza Horizon 4, will be officially released within the next seven weeks on 2nd October 2018.
