With Forza Motorsport 6 hogging all the spotlight with its imminent release next month, it's easy to forget about its sublime open world sister series Forza Horizon. This time last year we were hotly anticipating the series' Xbox One debut with the release of Forza Horizon 2. Since then, it's received regular updates, extra cars and expansions throughout the year to keep us glued behind the wheel.
But just when you thought you'd seen the last of Forza Horizon 2's car packs, along comes another one. Called the Playground Select Pack, a further six cars have been added to Forza Horizon 2's roster. Best of all, they're all available to download for free – for a limited time, at least.

Available for free on the Forza Hub until August 11th, the Playground Select Pack includes the 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar, 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona HEMI, 1997 McLaren F1 GT, 1978 Ford Mustang II King Cobra, 1952 Fiat 8V Supersonic and 1986 Honda Civic Si (free car). A typically eclectic mix of muscle cars, hot hatches and exotic supercars we've come to expect from Forza, then.
The Volvo is known for being a regular staple of the Sweedish Touring Car Championship, while the Dodge Charger Daytona can be added to the list of cars in Forza that have featured in Fast and Furious.
Which car are you enjoying driving the most?
