News FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15’s release date announced

Techland Games have announced that their speedway sim FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15 will release for PC on December 1 for £19.99/$24.99/ €21.99. Australian fans can expect a release later in December, as soon as the age rating is approved locally.

The licensed speedway sim's release date comes as a surprise as very little gameplay footage has been made public. FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15 is also being developed for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles although no release date has yet been set. However, Techland have stated that the console versions will miss their original late 2015 release window and will now instead release sometime in 2016.

Interestingly. The game will have professional live commentary provided by Nigel Pearson (when was the last time you played a racing game with decent commentary?) The Speedway sim also includes track surface damage/changes, arcade and simulation driving modes and online multiplayer for up to 4 players at once.
