Not long after Codemasters unveiled the inclusion of Niki Lauda's legendary Ferrari 312 T2 in the forthcoming F1 2013, which conveniently coincided with the theatrical release of Ron Howard's Rush, Kunos Simulazioni have announced the fifth and final Ferrari that will be bundled in Assetto Corsa – as you might have guessed by now, it's the Ferrari 312T.
As expected, the 312T has been immaculately reproduced in Assetto Corsa, which is evident from the sumptuous gallery of screenshots depicting it in action racing round historical versions of Silverstone and Monza. Indeed, the authenticity should provide an immensely immersive experience for fans of classic motorsport – especially since, unlike F1 2013, Assetto Corsa is aimed at the PC sim market. The classic formula one cars on offer in F1 2013 are reportedly a handful to drive, so we can only imagine how accurately they would handle in Assetto Corsa with its ramped up realism.
To recap, all five Ferrari's have now been confirmed for Assetto Corsa: joining the 312T will be the Ferrari 599XX, 458 Italia, 458 GT2 and of course the F40.
