Today marks the release of the Nintendo Switch and with it, the release of the only currently available racer for the new console: FAST RMX.
When FAST RMX was first announced we weren't quite sure whether it would actually be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch until just recently. FAST RMX, as the name hints, is a remix of Shin'en Multimedia's previously released futuristic racer FAST Racing Neo and is now available on the eShop for £16.99.
The remix boasts almost double the content of FAST Racing Neo and runs at a buttery smooth 60 frames per second (with the understandable exception of 3 and 4-player split screen where the frame rate drops to 30) at a crisp 1080p resolution.
The latest title in the FAST franchise features 15 racing crafts and 30 tracks which are set across several different environments such as the canyons, futuristic cities and alpine peaks. The Switch game can be played in TV, Tabletop and Handheld modes and will utilise HD Rumble and motion controls. RMX has split screen for up to 4 players as well as local and online multiplayer for up to eight players.
We'll keep you up to date on any updates for FAST RMX and indeed any future titles from this talented development team.
