News Farming Simulator confirmed for Switch, Farming Simulator 18 coming to Vita & 3DS

Farming Simulator has proven big business on the PC and major consoles of late, the franchise continues to grow with the announcement that it will soon launch for other platforms.

farming simulator 18 vita 3ds ps4 pc xbox one tractor canyonKicking off, Giants Software and Focus Home Interactive will bring their virtual farmer simulation to Nintendo's upcoming Switch console. No release dates have been announced however we can no doubt expect a release before the end of the year.

PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS owners can also get in on the farming action too with the release of Farming Simulator 18 (and no there weren't 17 previous games in the series in case you were wondering) expected some time in 2017.

Farming Simulator 18 brings a truck load of new features for virtual farmers to harvest fields from the comfort of their couches. Over 50 farming vehicles and machines have been confirmed thus far, all are faithfully recreated from over 30 of the biggest names in the industry, including the likes of Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.
