We are quickly approaching F1 2020’s release date and after a steady stream of single-car gameplay videos, developer Codemasters has released a new gameplay trailer which showcases some wheel to wheel action for the first time.
The trailer is set against the classic Formula One theme and gives us a look at some racing action along with some Formula 2 content – the latter seen here for the first time. Codemasters has also announced F1 2020 will contain 16 classic cars, check out the new trailer below.
F1 2020 features the new game mode ‘My Team’ allowing players to create their Formula One team (as a driver-manager) who will race alongside other teams in the 2020 season. The two-player split-screen mode makes its return in F1 2020 along with Formula 2 content.
Codemasters celebrates the career of seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher with a Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition which comes complete with exclusive content and three days early access. Thos purchasing this edition will get to drive as Michael Schumacher in four of his most iconic cars seen below.

Players will also receive exclusive content including themed car liveries and driver customisation items, including a unique podium celebration.
To celebrate the seventieth anniversary of Formula One, fans who pre-order or purchase the Schumacher Deluxe Edition or the ‘F1 2020: F1 Seventy Edition’ will receive an exclusive set of in-game items. A Limited Edition F1 2020 Steelbook will also be available in local markets via selected retailers.
F1 2020 will release worldwide on July 10, 2020, across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. The title will also release on Google’s Stadia platform for the first time.
