Following the cancellation of FP2 it was all hands-on deck for the teams in FP3. Dry weather but with a high level of smog and humidity, the field were quick to take to the circuit and establish their race set-up. Limited time for qualification runs at the end saw most drivers having only one stab at setting a fast time, Lewis Hamilton making a mistake having been on to set the fastest time for the session while Valtteri Bottas was running without a T-wing which felt off his car earlier in the session. This will be noted by the FIA as assessments are made regarding having them removed, especially following the wobbly wing of the Haas at Australia two weeks earlier. Vettel setting the fastest time for the session from Kimi, but clearly qualifying is going to be an altogether more competitive prospect.
