Round 2 of the F1 World Championship moves to China and yet again we’ll get a glimpse of the performance from the top runners, and this time, on a circuit where overtaking is much easier to accomplish. We’ll see how the cars develop through the various session, however FP1 was largely uneventful due to heavy rain and little running on track. Much of the field spinning off in the tricky conditions, eventually Nico Hulkenberg beached his car in a gravel trap, this bringing out the red flag for much of the session.

Slow times and limited running resulted in teams unable to gain any credible data, many saving their cars and engines for FP2.
