Release Date: 10/07/2015

Codemasters have released a new trailer for their upcoming Formula One racer F1 2015. The trailer (seen below) reveals that the game has sadly suffered a last minute, but thankfully short, delay. The new release date now stands at July 10, which is around a month later than the original June 12 date.

F1 2015 is the first Formula One title from Codemasters to appear on current generation consoles and the dev team are aiming for 60 fps on both, the last we heard the game will run at 1080p resolution on the Playstation 4 and 900p on the Xbox One (the game will also be arriving on PC too ofcourse).

To accompany the new trailer Codemasters have also released some shiny new screenshots which show some incredible details including a packed out grid full of engineers and mechanics as you would see before every race. It appears there's also pre-race track-side interviews too which enforces Codemasters' aim of presenting the game as you would see the sport on your screens.

In the trailer we get a quick glimpse of the game's wet weather conditions which look very decent indeed, we also see the beautiful reflections on the cars themselves which look particularly fantastic under the floodlights of the night time races such as Singapore.

So just the one month extra to wait then for some current gen F1 action, I can live with that. To help pass the time why not watch this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix which should get you pumped up for F1 2015. Take a peak at the trailer below and the new screens in the gallery further below.

What did you think of the trailer? Does this recent delay frustrate you?
