Team VVV get to grips with a preview Playstation 4 copy of Codemasters' F1 2015 game which is due out next week.
As it's the weekend of the British Grand Prix we thought it would be rude not to feature Silverstone in our first look at the latest title in the long-running series. We view the direct-feed action from above Daniel Ricciardo's head, aboard the not so mighty Redbull this year.
We cut between gameplay and replay action, the game of course runs at 60 frames per second (fps), only dipping to less than that on parts of certain tracks. The replays however, only run at 30 fps sadly. The game looks great in my opinion and the action feels very much alive, we see AI cars spinning out and freshly laid tyre marks temporarily scar the track's surface.
We switch the action to various tracks including a very wet looking Singapore at night which really showcases the game's reflections, lighting and wet weather effects which look stunning. We wrap-up our first look of F1 2015 with a podium scene complete with flowing Champagne.
We've got many more preview video to come for F1 2015 across different platforms including multi-cam action so keep your eyes peeled for those. Let us know your opinion on F1 2015 in the comments below.
