Codemasters have released a first look hot lap video of F1 2014, featuring this year's Ferrari (botched nose job and all) driven by Alonso blistering the Bahrain track.
Watching the video highlights the visual improvements since F1 2013 (which are admittedly minimal at present in my eyes, but you can judge for yourself in the smattering of new screenshots we have on display in the gallery below) and of course the redesigned raspy engine audio in keeping with the introduction of V6 turbo engines in this year's championship.

It also serves as a reminder of how not to do replay camera angles. As many you have concured in the comments, it seems that Codemasters still haven't managed to implement authentic TV-style camera angles in their replays, disappointingly. Bare in mind, though, that Codemaster's depiction of Formula One in their games is heavily governed by the FIA, which could explain the apparent restrictions imposed.
