News DriveClub’s game director departs from Evolution Studios

DriveClub game director Col Rodgers has confirmed his departure from developer Evolution Studios.
According to a report by VideoGamer.com, Rodgers has been gone from the Cheshire-based studio since February this year, having moved on to establish the a new independent game developer, branded 'Big Red Switch'.
Though this announcement comes after the confirmation that Evolution Studios has been affected by redundancies as part of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's restructuring plans for its British-based outfits. Rodgers revealed his resignation is not connected to the job cuts at the developer.
At time of writing, neither Sony Computer Entertainment Europe or Evolution Studios has announced who will be replacing Col Rodgers as the directive lead behind the DriveClub project.
