Sony has recently announced they will be throwing in a free demo disc with the PlayStation VR (PSVR) headset when it launches on October 13.
Eight games will be included in the demo disc including Driveclub VR which has impressed those that have been lucky enough to try the title. Drivelcub VR will include new tracks and new modes which will help to differentiate it from the original title.
Over 80 vehicles have been confirmed, there will be online and single player modes along with drifting and time trials. Five new urban locations will make it in to give Driveclub a little splash of Project Gotham Racing flavour. Elsewhere, cruise control will be added for the more leisurely inclined and there's even a “virtual passenger” mode which will enable you to effectively watch yourself driving while you sit in the passenger set.
The full list of eight PlayStation VR demos bundled with the PlayStation VR headset can be seen below.

- EVE: Valkyrie

Hearing about the PSVR demo disc makes me think back to the “demo one” disc that was thrown in with the original PlayStation. The demo one disc was chock full of great titles and brings back great memories to this day – hopefully the PSVR demo will make a similar impact.
