As announced last week, DriveClub's v1.16 update has been released today as part of Evolution's server upgrade plans. Compared to recent patches, it's a pretty paltry update weighing in at just 0.1GB, bringing the total combined size of all the patches to 10.2GB.
The most significant update are the reworked Challenges, which now support an unlimited number of participants, make it easier to access developer Challenges and are presented in a slick new menu sporting images posted by the community.
The update also paves the way for the long-awaited DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition, although its final release date has yet to be announced – it's notably absent in this month's North American PS Plus freebies, at any rate.
Here's a rundown of all the changes in DriveClub's v1.16 update:
* Challenges have been expanded to support an unlimited number of participants.
* The Challenge Menu has a new interface to make it easier to join Challenges.
* Challenges can be set up to last longer: from 1hr up to 4 weeks per challenge.
* More of our favourite #PS4share pictures created by the community have been added to the Menus.
