News DiRT Rally – second tarmac run gameplay

We once again head to Germany in DiRT Rally with our second tarmac run this week. Our last video was a short sprint rally and so we thought we'd get to grips with a slightly longer stage this time around.

Once again we are using the TeamVVV triple-screen setup which really gives you a great sense of speed as you get a better view of objects by the side of the road whizzing past at rapid speeds. Alan tells us of his struggles previously with co-driver notes not being as accurate as he would like which of course affects your flow when racing. But notices the co-driver notes now seem spot on giving him the confidence to really attack the stages.

As with our last DiRT Rally video we get a nice look at the open environments within DiRT Rally, we are not looking at a small narrow portion as found in lots of rally games but a large open environment which feels alive and real.

Alongside DiRT Rally, there are two other rally games that will see the light of day this year – Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo and WRC 5. Suffice to say, 2015 is very much going to be the year of the rally games which is great to see as rally games have been fairly few over recent years.
