DiRT Rally 2.0‘s latest update focuses its attention on improving the title’s force feedback for wheel users.

Update 1.4.1, out now across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, introduces changes to the behaviour of the suspension. A new ‘Suspension’ slider has been added to the Input section of the ‘Options & Extras’ menu which is set by default to a level of 100.

Codemasters has stated that if you prefer the original force feedback feeling, you will need to navigate to the Input section of the ‘Options & Extras’ menu, select your device and then set the ‘Suspension’ slider in the ‘Vibration & Feedback’ tab to a value of 0.

Being the very first big force feedback update, Codemasters explains that the settings provided are very much a “work in progress”. The development team currently has plans to improve and refine the force feedback in future updates and are keen to gain community assessment on today’s update.
