News Dakar 18 delayed two weeks

Following the recent delay of Super Street: The Game, I’m sad to report that yet another racing game has suffered a very late delay.
Dakar 18 is the latest casualty, which will now release on September 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC some two weeks (and three days) after its original intended launch date of September 11.
It’s not all bad news though, to soften the blow developer Bigmoon Entertainment has released a brand new gameplay trailer which you can watch below.
Dakar 18 aims to be a realistic simulation of the off-road endurance event where your target is as much about survival as it is being the fastest.
The title will feature all fourteen stages from the 2018 Dakar Rally which players will navigate using recreations of roadbooks used by real-world Dakar Rally teams (a co-driver will also assist).
All car classes are represented from the 2018 Dakar Rally: bikes, cars, trucks, SSVs (UTV) and quads all feature. Time of day and weather are simulated and change during a race to provide a constantly evolving challenge as you tackle sand, mud, and water.
Besides the single-player content, Dakar 18 features online multiplayer and 2-player split screen support. You can view our exclusive gameplay on a preview version of Dakar 18, as well as an interview with Bigmoon Entertainment CEO and Dakar 18 game director Paulo J. Games, below.
