With the recently released PS4 Pro and the powerful Xbox Scorpio on the horizon, you may be keen to know what Slightly Mad Studios have up their sleeves for Project CARS 2 when it releases later this year.
Thankfully, Slightly Mad Studios' creative director Andy Tudor recently spoke to Red Bull to discuss the potentially mouth-watering marriage with the new hardware from Sony and Microsoft. When asked whether they'll be any graphical improvements to Project CARS 2 on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio, Tudor responded “Yes, absolutely. We're all gadget freaks at our studio, so if there's any wheel, pedal, VR, second-screen apps, triple screen, 21:9 monitors, or consoles, yeah, PSVR, PS4 Pro, and also Microsoft Scorpio, we will always be looking to utilise them in some way.”
Sounds very promising then, sadly Tudor didn't get into any specific details (putting it mildly) “I can confirm that PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio will get some sort of improvements, but we can't really talk about the Scorpio stuff at the moment because not very much is known”, said Tudor. "You'll have to wait until Microsoft themselves reveal more information on that."
Luckily, we won't have to wait long for the full reveal of the Xbox Scorpio. Microsoft will be holding a briefing on Sunday, June 11 where we expect to learn everything about the new and powerful console along with its release date.
