News Crash Team Racing inspired The Karters on schedule for Q1 2017 release

The Karters is a kart racer (hard to believe huh?) that is currently under development from indie studio Cmoar. The racer, which is currently residing on Steam Early Access, is heavily inspired by Crash Team Racing's gameplay and aesthetic as seen in the gameplay video below.

The fun racing title features 10-12 impressively animated characters, 12-16 maps (complete with alternative routes) across different environments, 4 battle arena maps, and of course multiple weapons. Besides the usual single player action, The Karters also features both local and online multiplayer modes and leaderboards.
Currently Cmoar Studios are putting the finishing touches on several tracks and have plans to release The Karters some time in Q1 of 2017. Cmoar haven't ruled out the possibility of a future console release either.
