DiRT Rally 2.0‘s Esports programme will be boosted thanks to a new partnership between Codemasters and the motorsport & automotive juggernaut Motorsport Network.
The freshly signed agreement will not only benefit DiRT Rally 2.0s Esports arrangements as a number of future Codemasters “key owned-IP titles” will also reap the rewards of the new deal (does that hint at a possible GRID sequel?).
The partnership will set the wheels in motion with the worldwide launch of DiRT Rally 2.0 (across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC) on February 26, or February 22 for those purchasing the Deluxe Edition.
James Allen, President, Motorsport Network said, “Codemasters is a trailblazing publisher that, by common consent, has defined racing games. Through this formidable alliance, we plan to put Codemasters’ iconic titles at the heart of a new, global esports programme that we can deliver to the very heartland of motor racing’s fan networks.”
Will bring you more on what this means for DiRT Rally 2.0’s upcoming Esports programme as soon as we know more.
