Codemasters Racing has revealed more information on F1 2015's multiplayer component.
Perhaps the most intruiging piece of this new info release is the announcement of an all-new matchmaking system for the game.
As a result, players will now (according to Codemasters Racing) be able to "easily" search for multiplayer races that fit their requirements – whether that be race length, track location and ability level.
Codemasters Racing will also be introducing a 'Feature Race' functionality to its licensed Formula One games through F1 2015, which consists of specific online race lobbies being set up to correspond with a real-world Formula One Grand Prix.
Other new features for the franchise include the option to include practice sessions in online race weekends.
It will also be possible to view live gameplay feeds of other players on track from the 'Garage' menu, though only during practice and qualifying sessions.
F1 2015 will be released in Europe and Australia later this week on 10th July on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Prospective players in the USA and Brazil will have to wait until 21st and 24th July respectively for the game to be made available in their territory.
