Circuit of the Americas is the next track to be added to iRacing, unveiled in a new behind the scenes video over on iRacing TV. The US circuit, best known for hosting the US Grand Prix, is tentatively scheduled to be released for iRacing sometime in Spring 2014.
The video reveals the painstaking process of constructing the track for iRacing, from initial laserscans to modelling the data in-game and replicating every seemingly minor detail. If the standard iRacing set by its rendition of Bathurst, which is ranked by many as the most true-to-life game replication of the iconic circuit, is anything to go by, this should be another eerily accurate track created with borderline obsessive attention to detail.
We've also teamed up with the folks over at iRacing.com to provide you with this special offer: three months of iRacing for the price of one, netting you a rather handy 60% saving!
