News Carlsson SLK 340 makes its game debut in R3E

The Carlsson SLK 340 racecar officially launched this week, but it's also made its racing game debut in R3E as part of the newly released Hill Climb pack, which also includes the RR Hillclimb track taking you on a trek through the treacherous French Alps.
Designed to compete in the E1 category hillclimb competition, the Carlsson SLK 340 is kitted with a monstrous 3.4-liter V8 engine, which churns out 610 horsepower. Its incredibly lightweight too – its carbon-fiber bodyshell brings the weight down to just 1,720 pounds.

You can pick up the R3E Hill Climb pack at the R3E store, which is currently for sale with a 50% promo offer for 199 vRP instead of 398 vRP.
R3E excels at simulating the intensity of hillclimbing thanks to its staggering sense of speed and thunderous audio effects, so it's great to see developer Sector3 continue from where SimBin left off and play to the game's strengths.
