The 2012 Formula 1 season edges ever closer and next week I’ll be putting together my season preview, looking at all of the new cars, the new drivers, the early tests and casting an historical eye over what all of this can mean for the races ahead.
Of course in the UK the big news is also related to coverage, with the F1 channel now active on SKY and running a range of trailers and shorts for upcoming content. There’s no doubt about it, it has never been a better time to be an F1 fan and that’s despite the added cost. The coverage SKY are putting together has huge potential, let’s just hope they get it right and go with the news rather than over dramatizing events in the name of TV marketing.
Today though Martin Brundle has been casting his experienced eye over the recent testing noting ‘McLaren are looking good’ and with it all building towards an exciting season opener, more information besides his video interview via the link: http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1/news/12475/7557948/Brundle-McLaren-looking-very-good-
