News British GT DLC Assetto Corsa Competizione out now

Today Assetto Corsa Competizione launch the British GT Pack DLC featuring laser-scanned versions of the Donington Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton Circuits, creating arguably the most accurate versions of these circuits ever modelled. This is supported with more than 40 new liveries and 70 drivers from the 2019 season, together with a dedicated Championship season mode. Lets check out the trailer and my initial thoughts.
All players can now enjoy mixed-class races under the British GT season selection. The three new British tracks and the ability to select GT4 cars is exclusive to owning the British GT Pack and the GT4 European Series DLC, respectively. Players who do not yet own the GT4 European Series and the British GT DLC packs can still enjoy mixed-class races on all base content tracks and race with GT4 opponents on the same track.
Having now played the British GT DLC, despite my poor framerate (issues I’ll look into resolving) it is clear the new track and cars are beautifully made and realised. Indeed, in driving the Aston Martin GT3 appeared far more intuitive though I still feel the sound effects are off, conveying damage to the car more than standard wear and tear. It is an improvement all round a great addition to the overall package, you can see my initial impressions on the Team VVV Twitch stream here.
