Today marks the release of Baja:Edge of Control HD across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
A remaster of the 2008 original, Baja:Edge of Control HD has been given a graphical overhaul with 4K resolution textures, improved rendering of particle effects and smooth frame rates. Improvements to the UI and the control scheme have also been implemented for the HD release as well as a more gentle introduction to the career mode which should make proceedings a little easier.
Baja:Edge of Control HD boasts a colossal 160 vehicles across its eight different classes which include 4×4's, buggies and trophy trucks. Vehicles can be upgraded with over 200 parts at the players disposal which break down during racing, so expect to wreck your suspension often as well as pick up a punctured tyre or two along the way.
With over 100 tracks, the off-road title features anything from near-vertical terrain, hill climb challenges and the Baja itself to keep players busy. Four-player split screen and online multiplayer are also included. You can view the previously released gameplay trailer for Baja: Edge of Control HD below.
