A new piece of content has been confirmed for Gran Turismo 6's forthcoming 'Ayrton Senna Tribute' update: the Brazilian racing driver's Formula Three racing car.
Featured for the first time in an 'Ayrton Senna Tribute' preview trailer, the single seater in question is the same one in which Senna won his first and only British Formula Three Championship title in 1983 in his debut season, before being signed on by Toleman to compete in Formula One the following year.
The Toyota-powered, Ralt-designed Formula Three car will be accompanied in the Ayrton Senna Tribute update with Senna's DAP Racing Kart and Lotus 97T Formula One car, along with new versions of Monza and Brands Hatch which resemble the circuits as they were in the 1980s.
An analysis of the above trailer's in-game footage doesn't appear to showcase either of these two new locations, however, nor is there any suggestion that other tracks will be included in the Ayrton Senna Tribute update.
Gran Turismo 6 players will be able to exclusivley access this commemorative content in Gran Turismo 6, when the update is released in just under a week's time on May 27th.
