News Audi R8 LMS Ultra confirmed for R3E open beta

Hot on the heels of SimBin's announcement regarding the open beta launch, it's now been officially confirmed that the license has been acquired for the Audi R8 LMS Ultra for RaceRoom Racing Experience.
Though not officially 100% breaking news – those who have been able to experience the closed beta have had the oppurtunity to try it out for a while now – it does mean that, with the open beta set to go live soon, everyone who registers to the R3E beta will be able to try the car out in the game for themselves.
Fans of homologation auto racing will undoubtedly be pretty pleased by the fact the Audi R8 LMS Ultra has been included in what's increasingly looking live a very capable PC sim: not only is it an evolution on what is seen as one of the more popular race cars that can be bought by privateer teams and racing drivers, but it's also proven to be hugely succesful on the track.
After all, not only does it have numerous podium finishes to call upon, but it also won last year's 24 hour endurance races at the Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps.
