Aston Martin's DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo car for Gran Turismo 6 has been fully revealed at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Created in-house at Aston Martin's design centre over a course of six months, the DP-100 is described in the official statement as a high-performance racer that "not only looks beautiful, but also boasts a high degree of engineering integrity".
For example, the active wheel blade arrangement is claimed to aid brake cooling whilst reducing aerodynamic drag, and the innovative 'light blade; rear lamp arrangement is said to preview illumination technology that may feature on future Aston Martin road cars.
In-game performance is also expected to be a strong point of the DP-100: whilst no exact acceleration or top speed statistics have been disclosed, the design study's 800bhp twin-turbocharged V12 engine makes this Aston Martin the most potent Vision Gran Turismo car to date.
Though the DP-100 will be available for Goodwood Festival of Speed attendants to experience at specific Gran Turismo 6 booths, the Aston Martin Vision Gran Turismo won't be released in the game until sometime next month.
