Aston Martin has revealed the first teaser media for its Vision Gran Turismo offering, ahead of the car's full reveal tomorrow at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Called the DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo, the new Aston Martin is the latest concept to be confirmed for Gran Turismo 6's VGT programme, and – after Nissan's recently-announced Concept 2020 – the second due to be revealed in full at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Much like the Nissan Concept 2020, Aston's VGT design study will also be brought to Gran Turismo 6 sometime in July, though the exact release date has yet to be officially confirmed at time of writing.
Technical details on the DP-100 are currently scarce, through the preview trailer and provided teaser images do suggest the car will be powered by a version of the Gaydon-based firm's V12 engine.
The DP-100's profile – as briefly shown towards the end of the teaser video – also heavily implies a mid-engined powertrain layout, thus making this the first time Aston Martin has "built" such a car since the one-off Bulldog testbed supercar from 1979.
More details and images are expected to be released once the DP-100 is shown off in full at the Festival of Speed's Supercar Paddock tomorrow morning.
