Italian developer Kunos Simulazioni has announced the Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition, which promises to be the “the most complete Assetto Corsa package ever conceived”. The Ultimate Edition will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners on April 20 and will be priced at £29.99.
The Ultimate Edition of Assetto Corsa comes complete with every car and track ever released for the racing simulation. That means we can expect the three Porsche Packs, ReadyToRace, and Japanese Packs, as well as the Ferrari 70th Anniversary DLC. Additionally, players also get the latest and updated version of the Assetto Corsa Prestige pack.
All these DLC packs boost the number of vehicles to a total of 178 cars. This is especially impressive when you consider the high level of authenticity that Assetto Corsa is known for: each car is accurate to its real-world counterpart thanks to the use of real data. Manufacturers featured include Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Lotus. Boy, do these guys like Lotus.
Assetto Corsa comes with 33 track configurations (across sixteen circuits) which utilise laser-scanning techniques for unparalleled accuracy. Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition boasts 33 track configurations from sixteen circuits including the legendary Spa Francorchamps, Nürburgring-Nordschleife, and Laguna Seca amongst others.
Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition will be available in retail and digital stores in the UK from April 20.
