Kunos Simulazioni have announced that they have enlarged their development team over the last six weeks in order to handle the extra workload as they continue to develop and expand Assetto Corsa for the PC as well as the console market.
It was back in June this year that Kunos Simulazioni announced that Assetto Corsa would be heading to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles much to many people's surprise.
Right now the development team are looking to include more than 30 new cars and an undisclosed number of new tracks for the racing sim across all announced platforms. The plan is to launch the console versions with over 100 cars and over 20 tracks, which isn't a bad start, but does seem a little on the slim side.
Kunos Simulazioni recently visited the McLaren Technology Centre and the Ferrari Factory and have some “exciting news” to share about why they made these visits but for now are keeping their cards close to their chest, promising to reveal details in the coming months.
We'll keep you updated on all the latest Assetto Corsa developments as they happen. For now, why not check out one of our recent Assetto Corsa video below.
