SCS Software have recently announced that the Nevada State DLC will now be available free of charge to coincide with the launch of American Truck Simulator on February 3.
This should come as great news for American Truck Simulator fans as previously the title was only going to launch with just the one state: California. Furthermore, the Arizona State DLC that SCS are currently busy working on will also launch for free once complete.
The standard version of American Truck Simulator has a recommended retail price of $20/€20, however SCS have also mentioned that some retailers will be offering a collectors edition which will include additional merchandise bits and bobs for an unknown price.
The development team will continue to work on American Truck Simulator in the coming years to expand the world. Hopefully in the future, as more states and roads are added, it would be great to have the ability to drive from coast to coast. SCS concede however that progress will be decided by fans with whether or not they choose to purchase future DLC expansions.
