The latest content update for Forza Motorsport 7 – adding, amongst other items and fixes, the 2018 Honda Civic Type R hot hatchback.
One of the Forza franchise's most requested cars in recent times, the latest iteration of the Honda Civic Type R is also making its racing game debut via this new update for Forza Motorsport 7.
Owners of Forza Motorsport 7's Car Pass will have automatic access to the car upon booting up the game after downloading the May content update. Other Forza Motorsport 7 players will still be able to get the FK8 Honda Civic Type R for free, but will have to manually acquire it from the game's "Buy Cars" menu.
In addition to the record-breaking performance car, Forza Motorsport 7's May content update also introduces the 1997 Honda Civic Type R Forza Edition to the game. Boasting a bespoke bodykit and automatically homologated for FM7's "Hot Hatch Icons" division, this exclusive car will initially be made available reward for participating in an upcoming Rivals time trial event.
Other items introduced to Forza Motorsport 7 through this update consist primarily of bug fixes. As well as remedying crash-inducing bugs encountered by PC and console players, the new update also clamps down on a loophole that allowed players to pass off designs created by other users as their own.
