OH MY!!!! Streets of Rage is the best gaming soundtrack ever. Ever!!
This passed me by completely, thank you so much for sharing this!Perhaps more important than the list of games is the fact it’s using a not-brilliant freeware emulator to power the whole thing. Very lazy, very cheap. A definite no-buy from me. Extremely disappointed in Sony’s cash-grab here.
I got to watch the Gran Turismo finals live and the crowd was electric the whole way through, that was a really fun atmosphere. I’m so happy both F1 and GT are off to a good start, it seems!
I thought Horizon Chase was a fun game. I really need to take a look at Slipstream, that looks great.
This is the game I’m really looking forward to though: Racing Apex!I love the idea and I really enjoy watching racing games as an eSport. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the event, because it was on Facebook. Apparently it was broadcast on TV in the UK, but I don’t live in the UK!
They need to think a bit more internationally (Facebook is quickly evaporating in non-English speaking parts of the world).
Wouldn’t it be a good idea to rebroadcast the stream on F1.com? At least then we know there is a centralised place you can go, regardless of where you are from.
Want me to get it started?
I just ordered the Bluetooth joystick by 8BitDo. Bonus cos it works on PC too.
I’ve been wanting this since day 1, but have been agonising over which platform to get it on! I think I will settle on Switch.
Re: Alan’s recent post:
https://www.teamvvv.com/news/polymega-reveals-25-minutes-of-sega-saturn-footage-including-sega-rally/What they have showed looks absolutely fantastic, although the direct capture + 30FPS capture arouses some slight suspicion. I think the trouble is that the retro gaming community have been burned so many times over that they are rightfully cautious.
I’m really hoping this device is everything it’s claiming up to be.
It used to blow my mind when the community started to make maps for games. It felt like the possibilities were endless and that the game would last forever.
Glad to have you here!
Thanks Kevin!
Very jealous of your rig! Having kids has put anything like this on indefinite hold. I was hoping PSVR would have taken off more than it did and would have satisfied all my driving fantasies, but I guess we are still a few years off that.
I tried the demo on PC too. That game is optimised by wizards. I’m on a gaming laptop and it defaulted to Ultra settings – running at around 144hz. Technically incredible and I really enjoyed the gameplay so far too. Looking forward to release day!
Cats and cars! Purrrfection.
Sonic is my favourite franchise in the genre too. I think perhaps even more than Mario Kart, but it’s close.16/09/2018 at 2:35 pm in reply to: Singapore: Ocon or Perez who was to blame for the contact? #42966I’ve gone with Perez… no doubting that second incident later in the race, too!
