Esports has become big business, well I say business loosely as a lot of people are spending money on Esports, whether that turns into a business is another matter. But either way, the investment being thrown at Esports has increased ten-fold from a few years ago. Over recent months we’ve seen the creation of Fernando Alonso’s Esport team and with other Formula One teams getting into the mix, such as Williams.
What are the big teams, how do we define them? How do they reward their players differently?
Do you run a team, and has it been affected by the creation of these new corporate teams taking your players? It would be great to lean more about this and use this forum to give some information back besides highlighting the new upcoming events.
