Slightly Mad Studios have released their eleventh update for the PC version of Project CARS which adds full HTC Vive support.

Project CARS HTC Vive Virtual Reality Headset SupportAccording to the development team HTC Vive users will see SteamVR's room customisation option which will enable players to chop and change the look of the 3D space surrounding the menus.

Elsewhere the update adds support for the recently released Thrustmaster TMX racing wheel and includes a couple of fixes for Fanatec racing wheels among other updates here and there.

Depth of Field effects now work correctly 

Improved rendering system for Crepuscular rays and Sun flares 

Improved the default seat position 

Improved default camera settings to prevent the car tilting independently from the player at steep inclines

OTHER

Fixed an issue where a pit stop operation would fail to initiate correctly, leaving the car stuck in the pits

Fixed an issue with the pit-in trigger potentially initiating when the player is on the main straight

Added support for the Thrustmaster TMX ForceFeedback wheel

Fixed an issue with Fanatec wheels where LEDs and pedal rumble motors failed to work after a disconnect/reconnect
