Just in time for Gamescom, Milestone has released a brand new trailer of Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO to console us after its recent delay.
Showcasing the latest build in action, the footage shows how development has progressed since our last look. The numerous improvements show early signs of promise: track textures are looking increasingly detailed and now sport individually animated spectators (the embarrassingly robotic crowds with syncronised clapping animations appear to now be a thing of the past), cars are leaving pleasingly thick, lingering dust clouds and night- time rallying (something which was disappointingly absent in WRC 4) looks incredibly challenging. We also get a few more glimpses of the Pikes Peak Hillclimb course.

You have to wonder if the success of DiRT Rally inspired Milestone to delay the game to apply some extra competition. Indeed, it's a shame we now have to wait a bit longer to get behind the wheel of Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO, but if the game delivers on its promise of this level of quality, then we could be looking at Milestone's breakthrough hit.
