Project CARS 2 developer Slightly Mad Studios has revealed the first time attack car to be confirmed for the title.
One of the fastest time attack cars currently active in the UK, the SVA Imports-developed Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI is also set to make its racing game debut via Project CARS 2.
At time of writing, it's unknown if Project CARS 2 will contain additional time attack content to complement the SVA Imports Mitsubishi. Since the discipline wasn't highlighted when Project CARS 2 was officially announced, it's presumed the series won't be extensively represented in-game.
However, as Project CARS 2 will feature a majority of the tracks that make up the UK Time Attack Championship (namely Cadwell Park, Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Snetterton and Oulton Park), players will be able to somewhat re-enact most of the upcoming 2017 championship in the title.
