An alleged games industry insider has claimed Forza Horizon will "probably" be re-released on the Xbox One sometime in September 2014.
Speaking on the NeoGAF forums, the user under the pseudonym of 'ntkrnl' announced that Playground Games' Forza spin-off title will be remastered for an exclusive release on Microsoft's latest games console, bringing co-op gameplay, weather effects and a true Test Drive: Unlimited-style open world:
['ntkrnl' on Forza Horizon re-release] "Fall 2014, probably September. Super sexy weather system and… shit tons of co-op/social stuff. 1080P and open-world, so you can road trip with your bros."
This claimed leak comes after the recent speculatory stories about Forza Horizon 2 being in the pipelines, which is also expected to be announced later this year.
We hasten to stress that, whilst these two "announcements" are the most concrete evidence yet that suggests there'll be a Forza Horizon game for the Xbox One later this year, these are all unconfirmed reports at time of writing.
