Release Date: 06/05/2015

Earlier this month Slightly Mad Studios announced the Project CARS Game of the Year Edition and now the development team have revealed its release date.

Launching May 6 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, Project CARS Game of the Year Edition (or GOTYE) is a combination of the original release along with all of its subsequent DLC packs all throw into one big bursting package.

When compared to the bog standard release version, Project CARS GOTYE will feature 50+ additional cars for instance which boosts the car count to around the 125 mark. Tracks haven't been left out either and you can expect four to be added to the already impressive tally. Furthermore, 60+ community created car liveries have been included and of course you can expect all the very latest patches and fixes included in the package.

However where Project CARS GOTYE will really separate itself from the standard title is with its exclusive content. The first of two exclusive items is the debut of the combined Nurburgring Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit, the second item, or should that be items, is a pair of Pagani supercars no less. More specifically the Pagani Zonda Revolucion and Pagani Huayra BC which was recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show recently.

Slightly Mad Studios have also confirmed that a “Game of the Year Add-On Pack” will be available to existing Project CARS owners. Although no price point has been officially announced, pricing is expected to be at around the £5 mark according to the official Project CARS Twitter page.
