News Off-road vehicle simulator Spintires: Mudrunner releases

Today marks the release of Spintires: Mudrunner across the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 platforms. The title is best described as an extreme off-road physics-based vehicle simulator which builds on the original Spintires (released already on PC) with new content to become an “ultimate edition” of sorts.

Not only does Spintires: Mudrunner expect you to navigate some of the most treacherous roads and off-road terrain imaginable, but expects you to do so with just the aid of a map and compass. Fortunately, this is way more fun than it sounds, thanks to the title's incredible physics model, oh and it's quite a looker too, check it out in the trailer below.

The game's many missions and challenges will see you traversing mud, passing rivers with strong currents, and climb petrifying peaks in anything from a 4×4 to a “sturdy logistic vehicle”. For those looking for a more laid back experience, Spintires: Mudrunner offers players the chance to play with freedom in big open areas thanks to the game's sandbox maps.
