Multi-track racer Drive!Drive!Drive! is getting a limited edition physical release

Martin Bigg On March 6, 2017

While many prefer the convenience of digital download games, there will always be purists that prefer physical releases. You can't beat the sense of ownership you get with physical games, and you can also admire the artwork. Limited resources and cheaper asking prices mean that indie games tend to be digital-only releases.

Catering to collectors, Limited Run Games specialises in distributing limited edition physical releases of previously digital-only indie titles on PS4 and PS Vita. Previous indie titles released by Limited Run Games include Octodad: Deadliest Catch, Oddworld: New n Tasty, Retro City Rampage DX and Firewatch. And now the first racing game will be added to the Limited Run Games collection, as quirky indie racer Drive!Drive!Drive! will be getting a limited physical release along with a range of titles published by Choice Provisions.

No release date or price has been announced, but you can expect only a few thousand copies to be available - Limited Run Games releases are typically limited to 1000 - 3,500 copies and sell out fast.

Developed by one-man team Different Cloth, Drive!Drive!Drive! lets you race on multiple tracks at the same time, which you can switch between in real time to finish in the best overall position. It also features a track creator, a career with 100 pre-made tracks and nine unique environments, up to four player multiplayer and four game modes including Purist, Arcade, Collection and Time Trial.
