News Free-to-play mobile racer Gear.Club to host third round of World’s Fastest Gamer competition

The third qualifying round for McLaren's World's Fastest Gamer esports competition is now open on the free-to-play mobile racing game Gear.Club.
Lasting from 27th July 2017 to 17th August 2017, the Gear.Club-based qualifying round tasks players with setting lap times on three street circuits designed specifically for the World's Fastest Gamer championship.
Much like the prior World's Fastest Gamer qualifying rounds, only one vehicle is eligible for participants to use – in Gear.Club's case, the in-game McLaren 570S GT4.
Given the round's time trial nature, players will be able to set as many lap times on the three tracks as possible whilst the qualifying event is open. The participant who sets the fastest combined time across the three routes when the event closes will be the overall winner, and thus be entered into the final round of the World's Fastest Gamer competition.
