Release Date: 03/10/2017

The first batch of Forza Motorsport 7's 'Forza Edition' customised cars have been showcased by developer Turn 10 Studios.

Identical in concept to the 'Horizon Edition' cars from Forza Horizon 3, Forza Motorsport 7's Forza Edition cars are in essence built-up versions of specific cars available in the base game.

As well as being built-up and tuned for specific performance and handling attributes, Forza Edition cars can also come with additional post-race credit and XP multipliers that allow players to level up and amass in-game currency at an accelerated rate.

Much like Forza Horizon 3's Horizon Edition vehicles, Forza Motorsport 7's Forza Edition cars will be primarily accessible through time-limited Forzathon challenges. Players will also be able to acquire Forza Edition cars from other users in Forza Motorsport 7's Auction House, and Forza Edition cars will also be the rewards for completing specific milestones in the 'Forza Driver's Cup' single-player mode.

At time of writing, the following six Forza Edition cars have been revealed for Forza Motorsport 7. Of the six, only one (the Ford GT Forza Edition) isn't exclusive to the premium VIP Pass add-on.

  • 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Forza Edition
  • 1992 Ford Escort RS Forza Edition
  • 2012 Nissan GT-R Forza Edition
  • 2013 Ram Runner Forza Edition
  • 2014 BMW M4 Forza Edition
  • 2017 Ford GT Forza Edition

More details on Forza Motorsport 7 and its Forza Edition reward cars will likely be revealed closer to the title's launch later this year.
