Ex-Driveclub devs to start work on next IP at the end of this month

Kevin Dooley On April 18, 2016

It's been less than month since Sony shut down Evolution Studios and only a week since we found out that most of the Evolution team would be joining Codemasters. So it comes somewhat of a surprise to hear the ex-Evolution devs will already be starting work on a new IP at the end of this month and the title will be multi-platform too.

Ex-Driveclub Game Director Paul Rustchynsky revealed the news in a tweet responding to a fan who asked when we would know anything about a new IP. The tweet by Rustchynsky (below) acknowledged that it would be “a while” before anything gets officially announced so we may need to exercise some serious patience.

What this new IP actually is is anyone's guess, will we see a new Motorstorm-inspired game? Will the ex-Evolution team return to the rally genre? Will we see the spiritual successor to Driveclub? Will we get something completely different? Let us know in the comments what you would like to see.
