News Dream Pack 3 released for Assetto Corsa

The third Dream Pack DLC has been released for Assetto Corsa which sees the addition of the legendary British Brands Hatch track with the GP and Indy configurations, and is accompanied by no less than eight new vehicles.
The Dream Pack 3 DLC pack is currently available on Steam with a promotional saving of 20%, making the DLC content pack cost just £5.59. The eight cars included in the Dream Pack 3 are as follows:
- Abarth 500 Assetto Corse
- Ford Escort RS 1600
- Lamborghini Gallardo SuperLeggera
- Lamborghini Huracàn SuperTrofeo
- Lotus 25
- Lotus 72
- McLaren 650 GT3
- Mercedes AMG GT3
Released alongside the Dream Pack 3 DLC pack is Assetto Corsa's 1.4 update which includes a number of improvements. Chief of which are the new graphics enhancements where developer Kunos Simulazioni have refined post processing effects which include the FXAA filter, improved by using their very own shader engine. The new imprvements will mean the game's visuals look crisper and run at a higher definition.
Artificial Intelligence also gets some attention with this new update, so we expect the AI drivers to behave more sensibly during those wheel to wheel moments. Anti-lag improvements should make for some more satisfying online racing and new exterior sounds for the BMW M3 E30 have been included.
You can no doubt expect a lot more updates for Assetto Corsa next year as it advances ever closer to its console debut which is rumoured to happen in early April. We'll bring you more on Assetto Corsa as soon as we can.
