Fully detailed interiors are being planned for all of Gran Turismo 6's Vision Gran Turismo concept cars.

Speaking with GTPlanet.net at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, Polyphony Digital CEO and Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed the studio "does intend to implement interiors for all of the VGT cars".

Yamauchi-san also explained why most of the Vision Gran Turismo design studies don't come with detailed cockpits, with the cited reasons being either time constraints involved in the design process, to the car manufacturers simply not providing an interior for Polyphony Digital to model in the first place.

Other details regarding the Vision Gran Turismo programme were revealed as well, with perhaps the most prominent being the in-all-but-name confirmation the Vision Gran Turismo from Bertone (a fabled Italian automotive design studio that filed for bankruptcy in March 2014) won't be coming to Gran Turismo 6.

It was also revealed that several companies involved in the project are interested in creating another Vision Gran Turismo concept car, to complement their existing versions currently found in-game.

At time of writing, 16 of the 28 companies currently participating in the Vision Gran Turismo initiative have had their concept cars officially revealed for or released in Gran Turismo 6.
