The Circuit de la Sarthe will be returning to the Gran Turismo series, as part of Gran Turismo Sport's inbound May content update.

Best known as the venue for the fabled 24 Heures du Mans endurance race, the Circuit de la Sarthe will be represented in Gran Turismo Sport with two layouts: the modern 13.6km layout, and a version of the contemporary track without the two chicanes along the Mulsanne Straight.

In addition to the Circuit de la Sarthe, nine new cars will be introduced to Gran Turismo Sport – including two outright Le Mans winners. The full list of cars included in the May 2018 Content Update goes as follows:

  • 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype
  • 1968 Fiat 500 F
  • 1988 Jaguar XJR-9
  • 1989 Sauber C9
  • 1992 Nissan R92CP
  • 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR
  • 2011 Renault Megane Trophy
  • 2015 Subaru BRZ S
  • 2016 Renault Clio RS200 Trophy

Upon installing the update when it's officially released, Gran Turismo Sport players will also have the chance to register for the FIA Gran Turismo Online Championships, ahead of the launch of the Manufacturers and Nations Cups in mid-June 2018.

Rounding off the core features of Gran Turismo Sport's May 2018 content update are a trio of GT League championships and Scapes settings – further fleshing out the game's singleplayer career mode and photomode respectively.

A more detailed changelog for Gran Turismo Sport's May 2018 content update is expected to be released shortly, in tandem with the launch of the new update.
